You feel like you are outside because of all the windows and natural light coming in. The water in the toddler area was very warm, the water in the wave pool a touch cooler but not cold, you acclimated very quickly. We also checked out the wave pool, I felt the waves were higher than some of the other waterparks I have been too, and to me that is a good thing as my daughter loves when the waves are on! One is a set of two slides on a pirate ship and one is a small stand alone slide. My daughter loved both areas, the toddler area has some fountains, and sprays, and two slides. We exclusively checked out the toddler area (I think it's called pirate's cove) and the wave pool. The lockers were nice, $7 to rent you can pay by credit card and it opens a locker for you and you pick a pin code so you can access it during your stay there. When you walk in, you can see lockers, bathrooms, and changing areas. Then just follow the signs and walk through the hotel until you get to the waterpark. Upon arriving, you check in at the front desk, where you pay and get your waterpark bracelets to put on. You can reserve a day pass online, which I did but turned out it was a slow day and we were one of the only families there, but a good tip if you go during a busier time. Just visited here today, and had an excellent time! I bought a day pass for myself and for my daughter. Cape codder you need to listen to your guests. But when it is 10 And 11 at night and there are kids running thru the hallway knocking on doors is unacceptable. The answer I received was “so what it’s fun. I approached the boy to tell him that every time he makes the life guard come over to throw him out he was taking that life guard away from watching children in the wave pool. This was not once or twice but at least 20 times. A life guard had to literally get off his chair and chase kids out of the hot tub. I watched many children freely roam the resort. You would think that after mentioning we wanted a weekend of relax and lay back pool time she would of said something. What she didn’t tell me was that the resort was completely full due to a children’s sports team that had booked the entire resort. Told them what i was looking for and The woman said they had everything I had inquired about. I called the resort with many questions before booking. The advertisement said you wouldn’t even have to leave the premises. Its been a long cold winter and working many hours we were happy to find this resort. My husband and I just wanted to get away for a weekend. When kids put themselves in danger does not make it fair to the lifeguards and the rest of us. I'll be the first to save a child caught in the fast river. We all need to watch out for each other in the water also. Mark my words if he got hurt we would have been witnesses for the lifeguards. (Yes, the boy understood) Not because of the lifeguard because of the misbehaving boy. Seeing that boy everytime around being told to get a tube annoying. I myself would love to swim freely in the lazy river but don't due to the rules. Where was the parent? It got to a point we began siding with the lifeguard. Every time around this boy was whistled at to get a tube. My husband and I witnessed a certain boy that was constantly told to stay with a tube and he would get one go past a lifeguard then leave it and swim freely. If you are able to keep yourself underwater, the water was nice The lifeguards were attentive and friendly. With covid the roof has to be open making it a little chilly. You can't blame the lifeguards, they are doing their jobs. Maybe, just maybe, when we go next time, people will pay attention. If a whistle is blown look and see what it being identified. Guess what, they closed the slides.PEOPLE, PLEASE, pay attention, watch your children. After 4 lifeguards repeatedly blew the whistles a mgr came out. Later that day there was an obnoxious person, drunk and acting very inappropriate. He said why, I said, the sign says don't do it, if you continue they'll close it down. He said why, I pointed at a sign that clearly read, no spectators in the splash area. I went to the person and said he's blowing the whistle at you. After the sixth time I asked the lifeguard what's the matter. Thumbs up for that, a couple of the circulators / internal blasters were not working there was a power outage before we got there and it messed up the sync. Lazy man river is not up to par, they are working on it.
